According to the game developers the upcoming PS5 Dual Sense controller looks pretty amazing, but does it actually work? According to many gamers this new controller is gonna be pretty cool. Well, we are still excited to see the final out of the PS4 controller design.
“I absolutely love it. It’s an amazing design, as futuristic as we should expect in 2020 – the sci-fi times we already live in,” Dying Light 2’s Lead game developers Tymon Smektala said to Push Square. “As for the shape, we need to see how it will fit in the hands, but looking at it I get very good vibes – I think it has a chance to be one of the best in history, just big enough but neat & funky at the same time.”
“The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers can be real game developers, way more than people expect right now,” said Smektela for studio Techland. “I’m curious about the overall sturdiness of the thing. It looks so sleek I wonder if it will survive accidental falls and rage quits. But all in all, even though I know the initial opinions were varied, for me it’s absolutely fantastic.”
Tequila Works’ CEO Raúl Rubio says, the PS5 Dual Sense controller is a “quite intelligent application of technology.”
“For example, the built-in speaker, which offers many possibilities to create actions within the game where everything is contextualized; as if someone starts calling you on the phone, for example,” Rubio game developers said in a machine-translated interview with Spanish gaming site MeriStation. “These are details that add immersion.”
It’s said that the controller is going to be a game-changer. In an interview, Smektala said that he wonder if the controller will be able to bear if it falls. As for now, Smetkala hasn’t gone into the depth that how he and his team feels about the new features. But he stated that he like the two stated color of the controller.
Very soon the controller will be launched and everyone will be able to see it themselves after console launches holiday 2020.
