Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 took off in April, 2019. Fans are still in await for Season 3’s release date. So here we are bringing you all the latest updates you need to know about the much-awaited Season 3 since February 2019, despite before Season 2 completed. 

Following the climactic ending of Season 2 in ‘Such Sweet Sorrow’ which terminated the Starfleet heroes fight to save the galaxy from Control, Captain Pike and crew are stranded in the present whereas it transferred Michael Burnham and her crew 930 years into the future! Since then fans have been waiting to know what is going to happen next.

Release  Date of Star Trek Discovery Season 3

Although, in Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 trailer, we got to see the season would be coming in 2020, never the less due to the continuing pandemic coronavirus, the release will be delayed for a little bit. Wilson Cruz said, “They’re currently editing and doing visual effects for Season 3, but it’s shifting to work from home so it’ll be slower than usual.” Now the editing time could last longer as of work from home. We can guess that it probably won’t be released this year but we can anticipate it in April, 2021. Officially the trailer calls it “Coming soon.”

Update on Star Trek Discovery Season 3

One of the season’s routine directors, Jonathan Frakes, told a panel at the 2019 Fan Expo Canada he explains, We jumped to the future at the end of season two. This is a big deal”. He added “We’ve boldly gone where no Star Trek series has gone before… So we’re gonna see what happens in the future.

All we can say now is, your wait is going to end and this season is going to be worth your watch with so much unbelievable events taking place.
