Everyone has heard about television series but in 2013 Ed Solomon, Boaz Yakin, and Edward Ricourt came up with the concept of movie series. It is called NOW YOU SEE ME 3.
The story of it revolves around a group of people called the Horsemen who are known for puling of impossible heists. The original cast of the series includes Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Michael Caine, Lizzy Caplan, and Morgan Freeman. The first movie among it was released in 2013, the other one after it is scheduled to release in 2021.
Both the releases have been a super hit on the screens. But it’s been a long time since the viewers have been waiting for the release of the third movie.
It seems like the wait is finally over. Liongate gave an official statement saying that they are making the third movie of the NOW YOU SEE ME and have already hired a writer for it. Eric Warren will be the one writing the script for the movie and the press release announcing his hiring says that his take “will capture the fun, magic, and spirit of the original, introducing new characters into the world while also creating opportunities for the original cast to reprise their roles.
The first movie revolved around the four horsemen who are tracked by the FBI for the heists and robbery they plan and execute. As it turns out, they’ve really been part of a complicated revenge mission and looking to join an elite group known as The Eye. The second movie actually deals with all the four men meeting it other so it’s still not clear how the movie will pick up from this plot.
NOW YOU SEE ME 3 is in its real early stage where the script is also not complete and nor has the production begun which makes it impossible for anyone to give an estimate about the cast or the release date of the movie. But during the press release, Chu’s who the initial director was. His name was not taken so it assumed that he is no longer attached with the movie series.
We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the developing project, however, so be on the lookout for updates.
