Zelda Breath of Wild 2 is one of the most awaited games. But, since the reveal during E3 last year the news of the releases is few and far. However, Nintendo revealed that the development of the game is going on. According to the fans, the next update on Breath of the Wild 2 will take place on an upcoming Nintendo Direct.
During the Nintendo Mini, they announced about the Switch release by the first half of this year, along with total mysteries about Q3 and Q4. So, there are chances that Nintendo might address about Breath of the Wild 2 in its next Direct.
Switch fans expect that a Direct may be held during June which will come up with the release dates about Breath of the Wild 2. The total silence about Q3 and Q4, says there might be some surprise that Nintendo is having in its store which gives them flexibility.
Rumours have taken place about Breath of the Wild 2 being released on holiday 2020, but then leakers say that the development is taking more than the expected time. This might mean that the release can get delayed until 2021. This can be replaced with the new Mario Kart game. If the development speeds up, then the game has the flexibility to be released in the second half of the year. However, if the release is pushed to 2021 then an update is likely expected in the month of June.
It has been heard that the Direct that was expected to be held around this time has been cancelled and E3 2020 has been delayed on Breath of the Wild 2.
Venture Bear’s Grubb accurately predicted before the official announcement about the weeks Nintendo was going to hold some streams. The Journalist said that the Nintendo Mini that was held in March was a Nintendo Direct and not a Direct Mini as it ended up. This Journalist has also predicted the delay of the Direct that was to be held in the month of June.
Grubb predicted these after viewing the tweets from Niko Partner’s senior analyst Daniel Ahmad. Ahmad tweeted that a lot of announcements have been planned for E3 have now been moved out of that week in June. After this, Grubb said, “Japanese companies are having a really tough time with the transition to WFH. This is less of a problem for PlayStation, which is basically an American/European outfit now. But stuff like the expected June Direct from Nintendo is far more uncertain than it was.” He was then asked about his predictions on the date of Nintendo Direct.
The reporter posted: “Probably not early. It might not get pushed, but that is more likely right now.” If the June Direct is decided to be delayed then it could mean that the wait for Breath of the Wild 2 is going to be longer.
