So, most of the fans will be currently thinking about when Lucifer season five happening? Lucifer is getting back to Netflix for season 5 in 2020. With this we have some really good news for the fans. There are large possibilities that it will no longer be the final season of the series. 

The early seasons of Lucifer started streaming on Netflix at the beginning of 2019 and although the show is borrowed from FOX who called off the series after three seasons last year. In April 2020, the production of season 5 hindered. Although it is confirmed from the sources that the first half is ready now and is going to hit on Netflix very soon!

Tom Kapinos’s TV adaption of the DC Comics is returning back on Netflix. Although the updates that we have received is leaving fans of the show with mixed emotions

The show has always been on top of the charts in terms of ranking. While season 3 had IMDb ratings for each episode in mid-8s, the fourth season of the series got the charts up with  between 9.5 to 9.9. This makes Lucifer Netflix’s latest revival show.

When is season 5 releasing?

Unfortunately, production has now been delayed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic right now. Like every other Netflix show waiting in the wings, it’s not yet clear when filming will recommence, which means that Lucifer season five could now be pushed back to late 2020 or even 2021 at the earliest.

Nevertheless, we are sure of the series will come soon and is divided. Ellis revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show in October 2019: “Season five… is going to be split into two halves. Netflix is going to drop eight episodes, then there’s going to be a little break, then another eight episodes.”
