Views on Street of Rage 4
Street of Rage 4 can be played on many platforms. But does it hold up the performance of Nintendo Switch? Well, I would say that it matches the competition.
The expert team at Digital Foundry gave the game coverage on 29th April and found that it works with same swift, smooth 60 frames per second action as other platforms. Whether you play it on duck mode or in mobile mode the visuals will be the same. They posted a video on this topic on YouTube. The additional visual effects were available in the Switch version also. They said that Street of Rage 4 for Nintendo is as good as PS4. Thus, the visuals were as same as the other platforms.
Even the menu option is completely responsive in Switch. The graphical menu is completely present and correct on Nintendo’s console. As same as the other four co-op players are allowed. Two users can each grab a single Joycon to get in on the action with no extra pads required.
Rich Leadbetter even called Streets of Rage 4 “the Sonic Mania of sideways fighting games” as it takes “everything” about the entire beat ’em up genre and improves it. The conclusion of John Linneman is “the game is awesome” on every platform, and everyone should give it a try.
Street of Rage 3 was released almost 20 years ago during the spring of 1994. Street of Rage 4 is a direct continuation of the previous game. It is a beautifully crafted return to a beloved franchise. The Street of rage 3 was successful so they applied the same criteria with Streets of Rage 4 too.
