All Lucifer Season 5 Theories: What could happen in the next season

Lucifer is one of that show which was revived by Netflix after its huge fan following and appraisal, with the fourth season coming to an end not much is left in Toms Ellis life not emotionally not professionally.

The considerable news is that makers have confirmed the making of the fifth and the sixth season as well. But for now let’s see all that we know about the season 5 of Lucifer.

Lucifer is an American television series which is developed by Tom Kapinos which was first premiered on Fox in 2016. The series is based on DC comic’s character from the comic book The Sandman.

The story of the series revolves around a devil called Lucifer who leaves hell and comes and lives in Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub. He also becomes a consultant of the police for the state.  He later gets involved in a murder case with detective Chloe. Throughout the series, several celestial and demonic threats come to Los Angeles; at the same time, Lucifer and Chloe end up appreciating and being happy with each other.

After Netflix confirmed the making of the fifth season of the show the makers of the show looked extremely happy and joyous. Asked upon it they said “We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms,” said showrunners Henderson and Modrovich. “Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!!”

The fifth season is to have eight episodes. In February this year the writers confirmed that they had finished writing the storyline for the fifth season but unfortunately the production for the season has not begun in the wake of everything that has been going on in the world with the rise of COVID-19. Lucifer  is not sure that when the filming of the show will commence, but after all this viewers can expect the show to air by the end of 2020 or the starting of 2021.

Talking about the cast it goes without unsaid that the protagonist of the show Tom Ellish is going to remain the same. Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza, DB Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen and Scarlett Estevez as Trixie Espinoza are also to be seen.
