Ultimate Tag is an upcoming American obstacle course competition television series. The theme of the show is based on the game “TAG” and involves contestants going around running, hopping through indoor obstacles and escape from wherever the professional taggers make an attempt to catch them.
Fans will no longer have to wait so much to see their favourite host J.J Watt back on their screens which is on 20th of the month. The show will be premiered on Fox channel at 9 p.m. Watt hosts the show with Derek, who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Talking more about the host Watts it is enjoyable seeing Watt enjoy himself a bit away from the football ground after all that he has given this game from the starting. Apart from that breaking hundreds of hearts, Ultimate Tag Watt got married to Kealia Ohai who is also a professional Soccer player. Not only did Watt host this season but also took part on small plays and skits which turned out to be the highlight of the current season. He proved that he can entertain people with his humor away from the football field.
In his twitter announcement, Watt — a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year — spoke about the new game show in a video on the official “Ultimate Tag” Twitter page, as the new show has the tagline of: “This isn’t just an ordinary playground game.”
He said that the game which will be released will be the fastest, craziest and the most intense game that the gamers will have ever seen or experienced.
It is not more than a coincidence that in less than 24 hours the Fox channel has not only released the never seen before trailer of the series but has also announced the premiere date of the show.
In the press release Fox said “ULTIMATE TAG is a high-octane physical competition show based on the classic playground game of chase! Each week, competitors must vault, dodge, tumble and dive their way through several different epic, three-dimensional courses. All the while, the contestants will be chased by resident Taggers. These larger-than-life characters have a range of incredible and jaw-dropping athletic skills. For the contestants, there is one simple rule: Don’t Get Caught.”
