On Saturday Chennai-based Hyundai Motor India manufacturing facility rolled out 200 cars on the first day of re-starting operations.
The company re-started manufacturing activities on May 8th at its plant in Sriperumbudur in Chennai.
The vehicles manufactured at this plant are exported to over 80 countries
Hyundai Motor India said that the company has commenced production at the facility adhering to 100 per cent compliance of safety and social distancing norms with a limit of 50 per cent staff.
The commencement of the manufacturing unit will give a boost to economic activities and will bring back the normalcy in the situation. Thus, reviving the economy of the country.
Moreover, several other industries are also resuming their manufacturing operations in an organized manner after month-long lockdown to curb the coronavirus.
