A new The Smurfs Video Game is currently under development. The publisher of this game is Microids and the developer is OSome Studio. According to the publisher, Microids the game is going to be a 3D action-adventure type. This will have a completely new story which is inspired on the comics of Peyo, the cartoonist of the comics. The previous game was based on the comics the classic Asterix & Obelix.
Peyo created The Smurfs in the 1950s. The company that manages Peyo’s legacy is IMPS, which is not just limited to The Smurfs. The company was founded by Véronique Culliford, Peyo’s daughter in the year 1984 and is currently the CEO of the company.

I am very happy about this beautiful partnership; video games have always been my passion, because they combine playfulness and sometimes learning,”
