Ready for World of Warcraft Arena World Championship 2020 this Friday?


Despite of the Covid-19 pandemic, Blizzard will continue to hold the sports. But, the event has to be moved online, World of Warcraft, Arena World Championship 2020 tournament will begin on this Friday, 22nd May!

“The Arena World Championship (AWC) is one of the most prestigious PvP event in the world (of Warcraft and otherwise) and cups are starting up again for the final AWC season in Battle for Azeroth, Excitement in moderation is not recommended, it’s time to get HYPE.” Blizzard writes in their official announcement.

Mythic Dungeon International, The Arena World Championship 2020 puts the great PvP players of World of Warcraft against each other in order to fight for dominance.

Mythic Dungeons and Arena World Championship are different tournaments, but occur for World of Warcraft. However, the format of the tournament remains the same.

World of Warcraft

The tournament was announced by the official twitter account of WoW Esports:

“The Arena World Championship kicks off this week! Check out our Viewer’s Guide for everything you need to know:… Tune in live this Friday 10 a.m. PT | 7 p.m. CET Only on  ” (World of Warcraft)

This tournament will be held from May 22nd till June 14th.

This tournament will be held for four weekends, and by the end, the top four teams of both levels will move towards the finals. There, the four teams will be seeded into two different double-elimination groups.

The winner will get USD $150,000 for their victory. There will be open brackets between the cups on each Wednesday too.
